In mediation I offer you …
A free info call
I am happy to inform you in a first non-binding and free telephone call of 20 minutes about mediation and its procedure. You are welcome to contact me.
Neutrality – expression of my professionalism from the beginning
Please understand that such a first phone call is usually somewhat one-sided – I will tell you something about mediation and the general conditions. You can name your conflict in general – e.g. Divorce / separation, conflict between a community of heirs, conflict in the company, corporate succession.
I will not ask for further details of the conflict and your view of things, and I must not know either. Because otherwise I am no longer neutral. I take this aspect very seriously – it is not an expression of my lack of interest in you, but of my professionalism. If it comes to a mediation, you will have time and space to describe your point of view. Then I will want to know exactly what your interests and those of the other conflict party are.
Mediation sessions – my modalities
I charge the mediation at a fixed hourly rate. Experience shows that most mediations take between 10 and 15 hours to complete. Durations of 2 to 3 hours per session have proven optimal. On request I offer weekend mediations.
I hold my mediation sessions in premises in Essen and Düsseldorf, but I also travel to you to mediate in your environment.
I work in German and English.
